RD carbon intake

Do you guys know if there is a KN replacement filter for this intake? Also, I read somewhere that there is some modifying for the hood to close with this intake. Is this true and what do u have to do to get it to close? Any other problems with this product? I am considering this intake with the FIPK 2. Which should i choose considering bang for the buck and where can i get one? I searched ebay but couldn't find anything.
