Yeah if you're referring to Dezod then those two guys doing the bashing should know what the hell they're talking about.
I'm not just saying this because he's my sponser, but before I even considered anything to that extent, he was there to answer all my questions and continuously seeks feedback from us, to help him better serve the 7thgen community, and all of his customers.
On another note, ACT is amazing quality and fit as well.
So no matter what comp you're talking about, I think you have your facts skewed, not flaming, just saying to do a lil more research on the matter. Or you can look at the buy sell rating and see for yourself how many positive reviews he has.
BTW - I should have videos up tomorrow. Stay tuned guys! Anyone got a decent host I could get in on?

Urban and robber should find something better to do with their time. Ask anyone on thise site how their experience was with Dezod, you won't find one complaint!
Yeah ACT is def a safe bet. I'm gonna attempt to upload videos tonight, working on my audo system again, need more clarity hehe. After driving my step mom's benz around, I want a stronger midrange and ZERO distortion and rattling.

Edit: Thanks Madwheel for taking charge in our absence!
One question I had. A friend of mine uses and action clutch kit and loves it. Now my question is this....I've found action clutches for 97-02 civics but they say d16. Are d16 clutches interchangeable on a d17 tranny?

would you reccomend the xtreme clutch for a stock motor or only one running boost? I need a new clutch and am looking at just the heavy duty for now. Any suggestions? Oh yeah, I'm thinking stage 2

Stage 2 will be overkill for an NA D17. Go with a stage one, but also throw in a flywheel for good measure.
I am running ACT's HDSS clutch and StreetLite flywheel on my basically stock d17 (I/H/E) and it has been good for 12k miles, a bit of chatter but a polyurethane tranny mount fixed most of that....
