Fully Stock 03 EX coupe... need advice

With Christmas around the corner, I am most likely gonna earn some money-- money that I will invest towards my car. Anyhow, I would like to get advice as to what the first thing I should buy is... so far, I've been leaning on the K&N FIPK II, thanks to some help from users here already. Another idea, though, is to invest in a short shifter and rsx shift ****.

Both. I already know what I want, pretty much, and that includes looks; however, I think that cosmetics should be left til after the engine has a little more umph. I have the stock rims, too, and am planning to drop it about 1.8"- 2".

Eh, suspension warranty might have to go, but other stuff shouldn't.

You think exactly like how I do. I thought that my car already looked good enough to be stock for a while so I just worked on making it faster. I would probablly put the intake on first. K & N FIPK II sounds good, a lot of people seem to like it. I had my intake first, and it worked a lot better when I got a muffler with custom piping. There are so many different routes you can take in fixing up your car, but just get I/H/E first IMO.

Okay. I was thinking about Kamikaze headers, also; my future catback is deemed to be a Greddy Evo. Any takes on those two, and possibly their compatibility? And should I get them before I get an intake?

I would get the intake first personally, it adds a little more to start off of.

^^ Yeah, get the intake first. Cheaper than a header or a cat-back anyways

here's what i'd do. The order could vary depending on what you have more interest in:

1-K&N FIPK II intake
2-improve sound system (replace speakers, add subs)
as a side note, i'm not really into rap or anything with crazy bass, but even listening to opera in my car (which i do often), the subs really give the music the kick it needs. Subs are a good addition to any car.
3-lowering springs; whatever height you want
4-Megan Racing header (inexpensive but good)
5-Megan Racing hi-flow catalytic converter
6-Magnaflow cat-back (GB right now for $280!)
7-body kit or OEM lip kit

Hmmm... I like the Evo because of its sound quality, and the little dB test waiver thingy that I heard comes with it. For the drop, I was thinking a little more than that-- my car currently looks like a Roman chariot-- but thanks for the suggestion. Is there anything lower that can give me good ride quality [stock quality would be ideal]?

For the kit, I really like the R33 kit; I am definately planning on adding eyelids, too. For headlights, I'm thinking about the gunmetal oem looking ones, but I don't know if it's worth the money.

I already like my rims-- the only problem is that they're 15's. It's tempting to keep them, though.

mmm...sexy. For your bodykit, check out www.aftermarketkits.com . I forget if they have the r33 for our cars, but they have some nice kits, and all for $300.

Great prices; however, they don't have the R33 for our cars . I found it for $425 on www.importinnovation.com-- that's the cheapest I've seen so far.
