Post The effect of underdrive pulleys on engine life

When the topic of underdrive pulleys gets brought up, someone is usually quick to point out that they will make the engine wear prematurely.

Here is something I found about this. This guy installs and gives a review of underdrive pulleys. Read at the bottom where it says "Update- READ!!!"

Just thought it might help someone out. Pulleys haven't been brought up here in a while.

I only have the accesorie pulleys so they shouldnt have the same efect right

ive also heard that these pullets can cause you to blow a rod because of the pulley it could actually throw off the charge in your car this install is not for rookies just wanting basic mods

It will not have the same effect but the accessory pulleys does nothing for your car. Thanks for the info update IronFist

So you dont think the Aem accesorie pulleys do anything for our cars i felt a diff not a huge one but a little difference
