kms im vs dhracing im

i was just wondering which one of these two is the best because im thinking of getting an intake manifold, on the dhracing site it says there intake manifold is made from a material that wont heat up, does the kms intake manifold have this aswell ?

I am not aware of dh or sf being done with an intake manifold for our cars. They are indeed working on it, and it will probably be a better design than the kms one. The KMS intake manifold is made out of aluminum.

I'd email them becasue it also said "soon to be available for D17 and K20 motors" But DH-Racing makes some nice stuff.. they are engine builders, not some people who owned a 7thgen and tryed to fab one up. The rock for other cars from what I've hurd so I dont see why it would be any different for our's.

sooooooon to be available... not out yet.. i know this for sure... it WILL be soon though... within a month or so... and the difference is like the difference beetween an APC muffler and a jun racing titanium exhaust......... BIG. dave hickman is a LEGEND.... also.. we need someone to send them a crank pulley so we can have them made for our cars... stock = 6-7lbs.. dh one = 6 OUNCES!.. im just trying to find one to send in. we need this! $125 upgrade that will be REALLY nice, especially on FI cars.

Probably not too bad, but not as good as stock.. It gets rid of power steering and AC so it's not very practical.. more of a track only item, installs in like 15min so you can swap out when you want to.

15 MIN?! I guess you've never pulled the belts on your car yet have you? Pulling the belts is at LEAST a 30 MIN job.....I'm sure the pully would take even longer! Time to put the crack pipe away.....

Yeah, since I'm on crack.. did you ever stop and think some of us are very well seasoned when it comes to working on automobiles? Or that some people have a 70x40 shop with everything ever needed to do anything ever needed? So what if it may take you 30 minutes, dont be angry over 15.

Well, if you are lucky enough to have all of the tools, and the shop - than more power to you (and let me just say that I am jealous!!)....Someday I might be that lucky! Most of the folks here would do this in the driveway (including myself), which would limit the timeframe......But, sounds like you have it down.....props to you!
