exedy street sport. Awsome, just awsome IMO. Next best mod next to full suspension and Nitrous. Grips like a **** and is twice as short as stock. Plus, it is a bit stiffer. Made by same company that makes stock cutches. You can sell the car and no one will know the difference, only if they go up in the rev range and slam into geers

uhm... also ull need 12 point sockets to remove the clutch and flywheel... youll need to get the flywheel resurfaced also to prevent 'chatter' with the new clutch ... i took it to a machine shop (38bucks) and an hour of their time and that was done. when you reinstall the flywheel to the engine you need to use medium grade locktight on all 6 of the bolts. same thing aply's when reinstalling the pressure plate and clutch, locktight on all the bolts. make sure the kit comes with an alignment tool cause thats KEY. u need it. i didnt get one for some reason sooo we had to 'make' our own.. that wasnt to much fun.. but o welll... you need to switch out the pilot/pivot bearing... uhm forget what it is ..lol one of the two..its whatever bearing that is in the center of the flywheel...then u need to switch out the throwout bearing... both are cake to switch..... now the hardest part was installing the tranny back up... cause it slides on the engine with two little poles that guide it snug, that was a pain in the ***.
but after it got done, we reconnected everything.... jacked up the rear of the car and made the car level.... checked and refilled the tranny with HONDA tranny fluid from the dealership. that is a must... i cant insist that more ... do not put some knock off brand or some other **** in ur tranny... goto the dealership... they have it on hand. tranny takes like 3.5 bottles of the stuff if u plan on flushing it all i bought 4 bottles and it was 13bucks.. no biggie. but honda tranny fluid is a must.
after that ...test it out.. make sure theres no chatter against the flywheel and your good to go... like i said i have the Extreme kit... (act) is the one rebelow the 6 & 4 pluc kits. AND let me tell you its like the best mod to date ive done to my car.. functionality wise. theres like 6 inches less of throw to the clutch... its not crazy stiff... its still pretty soft.. more 10x more responsive... its so easy to actually feel out where the clutch grabs, as oppossed to out stock mush
imp: but let me remind you.. i have NO idea how hard it is with the engine in the car.. cause well... my engine was out cause i swap'd it for a new one cause i blew a hole threw the block last month, BUT i held the tranny in my hand... its like 40lbs... and hardly big..
edit oh and i dont recommend getting a new flywheel.. theres really no reason imo.. and i got mine off of ebay out of luck.. for DIRT cheap of what it goes for...

Heh - its a lot easier when you have the engine out of the car (as in your case)....Unless you have a lift there's no way you'll be getting the transaxle out from beneath the car....
