Couldn't believe it when my Fiber Images CF hood arrived. Supposed to be a complete set-up. Not only is there no nose trim, there's also a 3" X 7" hole in the center where a vent goes. Called Mantary Motorsports, thinking they just forgot to send it. However, they called FI who said they don't provide the vent & suggested I buy one from a BMW dealer. So far, I haven't been able to find this part, locally or on line. Can someone please recommend a good outlet for BMW parts? Better yet, is there a CF vent insert or hood available somewhere?

I'm also worried about hood clearance since the vent hole is right over my TB and I just installed a FIPK II. Then again, the vent should bring more cool air into engine compartment, and look pretty cool too. Please help me out guys. Who can I call for this missing piece?

Do you have any picture of the hood w/ and/or w/o the vent insert. I will help you find one if you do. I am also thinking about getting this hood, so I would not only be doing you a favor I would also be helping myself.

I'll post some pics when car comes out of the shop in 3 days. Putting a plastic cover on until I can find M3 hood vent insert. Meantime, I believe there's a pic on Fiber Images site of hood for M3 BMW, or just look for pics of M3. BTW KaZell may be providing CF overlaid hood nose & trunk trim pieces. I'll post pics of those as well. Thanks 4 yr help guys.

I guess only HEBEGEBZ and I have the M3 style hood. Still trying to find BMW parts dist online. Help Pls.
