Cool I want to say I'm in for sure, but I'd like to see how close the intake is to the firewall. I have 2 alarm sirens in the middle of my engine bay on the firewall and beneath black weather stripping. With my K&N FIPK II, since it curves up and over in the middle my sirens have room, but with this intake they may not (sorry I'm too lazy to move them elsewhere). So if there's room I'm definitely in. I'll try to post pics of intake area w/ the sirens later so you can get an idea, but for now here's a quick pic (better one follow)...

they said this:
"When Volant is able to produce the product we will know more about quantities and availability - as for lower pricing, I don't see the opportunity at this time to get below the discounts we have already offered. Again, when Volant is ready for shipments we will be happy to explore all the options."
i want it out allready...i hope this idea doesn't die

This intake doesn't need one because its actually a SRI enclosed in a box that has a tube running down to collect cooler air. I don't think you could suck up any water through the tube of the box .
