Hawk HPS pads
Hawk HPS pads
last weekend I changed my OEM pads to Hawk HPS for my daily driver and so far me likey.
Cold bite is no different from OEM, and there is a noticable harder initial bite when they heat up.
I felt the overall braking was improved when i changed tires a few months ago (to Potenzas Pole Positions)- so it is hard to tell how much better the pads are at this point. BTW- good performance tires make a great upgrade.
So far no noise, and some more brake dust has been seen ( more on the rear , which the OEMs were fairly clean compared to the HPS).
So far so good.

Re: Hawk HPS pads
yeah brake dust is already really bad for me with oem pads because i have more open rims, so either way the car gets dirty. its just part of owning a car i guess. mine is bad enough that if i want the car to look clean, i have to wipe the sides down every day, and the whole cloth has black dust all over.
