Looking at those with the same fog light set ups they sell. What happens if the bulb blows? can you replace them? and if i get the 10000k purple HID will it heat the fog light plastic?
I dont really know anything about HID's, all i know is that the higher the k the brighter. I know there are alot of cheap ones that are sh*t.

terrible idea. housing was not meant for hid and will throw light all over the place. i suggest reading up on hidplanet.com forums. also the higher the K, the dimmer they are. 4300k is stock bulb color and its the brightest. all the kits that allow you to put hid into a halogen housing are garbage from china that are made for $5 and sold at nearly pure profit. not to mention, any kind of kit like this is illegal in the usa.

Yea buy oem then http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext01.html.
But don't expect fogs to light up the road to much. If you want hid you can get this http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=249 there not plug and play but there awesome. I remember a member here having the electric90 or something like that.

Re: HID with fogs?
I have HID in my foglights and havent caused any problems...It is yellow though not at like 10000k but they're pretty good. Get them on amazon the ones that are 140 bucks not the 60 dollar ones. Much better quality then the 60 dollar ones but still not as expensive as oem.
