I don't mind if it's in SF...But can we all decide on a date.....soon!! If I am going to go...i need to plan my road trip around the meet. And the more time we take to decide....the less people we are going to have show up. I am for JULY 10TH. At noon or so.

Rep Power: 0 Do we wanna do it on a weekend or during the week? I think June 19th-22nd is cool. Nothing really happening around then. the 10th is the week after the 4th of July peeps might already have plans.
Well I am still down for being the home host. I do think that SF is the most central location so AEMcivic what do you think has thier been enought input on setting it for SF or should we wait a little longer. For everyone coming from the WA, OR, AZ and NV areas we will put on a meet worth driving for. Like I said I know mad people in the city. you dont have to stay in the city you can stay outside the city it will be alot cheaper. I think only a couple peeps live in the city it self most of the peeps live in other areas.

Rep Power: 0 Well, I will put my best foot forward and start getting things ready here in SF. I will talk to the other members of the SF chapter and get some input from them. We are due to meet sometime in April so we will have a for sure by the end of April as for an exact location. Before it final I will post pictures of the location so everyone can see and agree on the location.
Do we wanna try to do it at an arena or an event center where there's lots of parking? How about the beach? Maybe a park and do a BBQ? I am going to call a friend who is the Convection Housing Coordinator for the San Francisco convention bureau. As far as date I have no preference on date I'm not going any where. June, July its all good for me.

We need someone (or two people) from each Meet to act as a "representative". This person will help with getting Hotel names and prices in the area. At least get a list of hotel names and maybe a phone number, that way the people that are interested can call and get the rates and availability themselves. Your help will be appreciated by all. I know OverTheTop is down to be a leader. So am I. We both organized meets and helped each other out, so I will back him with whatever he needs. He makes a benefical rep because he knows the San Fran area well. So Bill, if you need anything, come to me. If you want me to be a rep along side of you, then tell me. If not, then it's all in your hands but you still got my support.
