car was recovered in Oakland.. police said it was only a "minor strip" .. which means that it wasn't burned or anything. but when I saw it... OUCH! two front brakes were on the ground.... NO TIRES!!!! glass all over the f*cking place.. my engine sounds like a dragger and THEY TOOK MY WHOLE DASH BOARD!!! but it's koo .. isurance already took care of me .. so just wait for my car ...

Hey Paolo, did you have an alarm on your car? Where and when did it happen? I remember reading your profile before and you had a clean ride, then came the R.I.P. message. all i got to say is one word....SCAM!!!!! but good job man...i think ur insurance will still hook u up. i was even talkin to the guys at the shop and they even thought it was a scam...shouldve done a better job....couldve prolly got more money out of it! oh well...

They broke the window, and got into his car... manipulated the oh-so-new security ignition system in our cars... but everything that's made is made to be broken down. You know what, Paul? I just somehow knew that you'd get your car back. To me it just didn't seem like you lost your car forever, and I'm glad you got it back. Dude, I wanna know the insurance estimate for your car! Mine was ONLY $7,000 and you've got a lot more sh't missing from your car though mine was only damaged and mostly what was damaged needed to be replaced.

Get an aftermarket alarm! Get LoJack! Starter kill! Security! This is kew, though. I'm glad you got your car back and I'm glad it wasn't totally stripped. That's probably because the parts for the car are too new to really do anything with. People who steal cars like to go for the older models cuz the parts are compatible with the generations that surround them. (a 5th generation Civic or an early 90's Toyota for example). Whoever stole your car knew what they were after... knew what they could get money out of, but I think it still sucks that you had to be the victim of their selfishness. The engine in our cars is definitely not worth stealing, but the aftermarket parts are the only thing that really have a price tag on them... eh... oh yeah... the dash board... blehhh... I hope insurance hooks you up. THERE JUST AREN'T A LOT OF THINGS YOU CAN USE FROM STEALING A STOCK CIVIC CUZ IT'S TOO NEW! You can't use none of the shi't it has on the older models, so what's the point of strippin' a new car? Take it off a new Civic to put it on another new Civic? You can't really sell it... who would look for the parts to a car that's only been in production for 2 years going into it's third? There aren't enough Civic coupes owned by dirty people. It just doesn't work out that way.

I know you have to start over but I know you won't be starting with a budget of $0. I still agree you HAVE one of the nicest looking black Civics, and you can still hold that title! Fix that thing up! I expect to look forward to seeing your car at our future meets so we can kick it some time, too!
