I just installed some Blue LED washer lights on my Civic and wanted to know if anyone knows what the law is in Washington State about those things. Am I going to get yanked for having them on?

I think they are illegal because some law about only cops can have any blue lights on the outside of a car. I live down in San Diego and my boyfriend has the white ones. We got pulled over at the races and got a ticket [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] because the cop said they were blue. He took it to court and won.

cant have blue or red here in s. cali either...i got pulled over for my blue ones....thank goodness we were on our way to a club....a car full of girls with little clothing can get ya out of anything i tell ya haha

where in Washington are you located? You will proabably get a ticket if you get caught with those turned on while driving

I live in AZ and have the green ones. I was pulled over by the highway patrol, and he said they are illeagal everywhere. He didnt give me a ticket cause he said he ran outa tickets. I still leave them on and have had many cops drive by me, nobody else has ever stopped me or my friend that has em. THe worse that could happen is like a $50 ticket

I live in north seattle. I just won an auction for the white led lights and was going to switch to those asap. The blue ones are cool, but not worth the hassle. Do you guys know if the whites are legal?

acutally worse can happen then that.....here it is not a fix it ticket it is a flat ticket and more then 50 bucks....also the officer told me it is impersonating an officer which is jail time and a heavy fine......i unplugged mine until i can get a switch for them....but in my town i was never pulled over for them...in L.A. i was....depends on the cop i guess

cop told me only red and blue were illegal......so i dont know if you will get away with white
