Well the 7thgen got messed up tonight

Yeah went out tonight to check on the ride and the area I had it in parked in well I had it one of those half *** covers to keep it out of the rain and the thing collapsed luckily to the left of the car but still managed to mess up the right and left side of the ride I have no clue what its going to cost to fix it so debating if its worth it to use the 500 deductible or just leave it as is and trade it in on something else? This just really sucks I can't believe it like a huge nightmare. I don't get a garage space I try to take care of my ride and then this happens life is a bitch but its how you take care of it and are willing to do is what counts.

Then early last week I got white paint sprayed all over the car so yeah this takes the cake

I had a car canopy that people use to keep there car out of the rain, sun and stuff. Built really good and it gave out coming down on my car luckily going left missing my ride for the most part. Sucks for not having a garage spot and trying to keep your car nice here in OR since you get rain and needles all over your car which rusts it.

Luckily work got called off a few days because of it but like the next day after this mess I didn't even feel like work so I called in and it was icy out then too so didn't want to chance it by doing more damage. Yeah it wasn't too bad today with weather here but I don't even want to have to drive the car its just nasty looking the whole roof of the civic has like 5 huge dents, so been borrowing either my sisters or my dads accord.

Well got back from my guy at the detail shop and yeah the quote he gave me was like 2200.00 so yeah I doubt I will be paying for the repairs out of my pocket. But yeah anyway talk about a change of plans on mods and other things. Any ideas how much the insurance would go up with when I claim this? or shouldn't claim it and just ride it out with the car and then trade it in?

I think if you were to trade it in they will rip you off. They will really use the damages against you. I guess you can take it to servral dealers and see what you can get for it. I bet you can find a cheap shop to fix your damage . If you are planning to keep the car for a very long time than might as well get it fixed. Paying $500 is better than paying $2200 but I don't know how it will affect your insurance rate.

Yeah looking at my options I will get it fixed here sometime, then trade it in later this year for something else. But yeah talked to a insurance place today and they don't think it should raise my rates so who knows.

Well got the car back today went to check it over and yeah there are scratches on the mirror and front right panel they didn't see so we took photos and hopefully the insurance will cover this. But yeah considering how bad the damage was the car looks awesome with the work they have done. Dreaded having to hand a check for $500 to pick up the car but oh well there goes the mod money out the window for quite a while.
