Post your DIY Paint Jobs here!
Please include:
The type of paint used; type of paint, brand, mix ratios.
Method of application; spray bomb, roll-on, HVLP gun.
At least one finished picture, but multiple and in progress pics are more than welcome.
Who should post:
All generations, models and even other manufactures are welcome to participate in this thread.
All you painted was a front lip? All paint jobs big or small are welcome!

paint used Plasti-kote engine enamel.
i should have used "ceramic" header paint for the header cover.
most of these parts i pulled out sanded primed, painted

most of these parts i pulled out sanded primed, painted white, masked then painted blue by spraying.
later i found the results beter if you spray the paint in a can then bbrush on. this also works for parts you don't want to waste your time removing.
this is how i got her in 09, nice and clean but looked like every civic.
now in 2010
things you can't see, white throttle body, white on black strute bolts
also added these hose covers, $50 from mopac, this one slipped out but its tucked back in nicely now =D
also mainted my brake calee'z

My friend's Honda Accord I was f*cking with.
His original spray can hood he totally effed up on, and already chipping that I tried to repair (sorry no finished picture)
His trunk he wanted me to paint (I was curious on trying the rustoleum method)
One layer later:
3 layers later:
Sorry I didnt have finished products to show, he wanted his car back asap, and blurry pictures. but it was a pretty good job, if only I had a machine buffer it'd look fantastic

what's that honda-tech blue fusebox cover you have?
also recommend a neuspeed tower bar, but shipping could get high...

Shippings actually not to bad here, most people around where Mac and I live just ship parts to parcel companies in Washington state and get the free shipping all the sites offer within the states. Living farther from the border it would get mad expensive.

i painted the stock fuse box. it's supposed to say "honda motor sport", but there is a slightly odd use of kanji (or so riceboy tells me, but he still knew what it said). i drew out the letters on tape then used a knife and cut the letters out. then i plassed this mask, plus a stripe over the blue coat and sprayed white.

$50 at mopac. they also have a red set and chrome, i want my bro to get the chrome for his stang (he doesn't mod though). the set has two radiator hoses, one fuel line, and two other. they're just covers, not real hoses, but even up closs the thread stitch is so tight you can't see through to tell.
