Easy -
1. Unplug everything - wires, hoses, power steering, A/C etc.
2. Unbolt the axle bolts - pull out axles.
3. Disconnect exhaust manifold from muffler.
4. Unbolt Engine and transmission mounts - pull out the engine
Take new engine and do it in order 4.3.2.1
PS. You probably will have a lot of problems disconnecting all vacum and gas hoses. Rust remover or dissolvant or some other kind of lubrication will be needed.
YOu can also google civic ed repair manual, there is 1265page version for civic eg. So there should also be one for ed.

Hey do I need a MPIF harness out of a 88-91 si to put in a D15B Vtec OBD1 in to my 90 DX hatch can I use my harness or can I use one from an eg I all ready have the motor, ecu and the OBDO to OBD1 jumper harness if any one can help me that would be great
