Rep Power: 0 D16Y8 swap into 93 eg hatch
Well I have finished the swap for about a week. Me and my bud used the p28 ecu, haven't wired up Vtech yet, I'm going to get a Vtech controller for it before long. I have a few questions, I had to use the b7 tranny because the Y8 came out of my ek which had a cracked tranny. I have headers to full exhaust. What should I do to get the best performance? Thanks to all answers.

Oh and by the way, to anyone who swaps anything and you go to plug the battery back up and when you sit the terminals on the post and they start sparking, melting the post and causing all the grounds to smoke, make sure to check under the starter to see if there may be a bolt or nut underneath. We wasted an hour unplugging and plugging things back I'm to figure out why it did that. Tried the starter last and remembered dropping a small bolt under it. It ended up frying the starter which was new and it melted my post.
