wanting to know some info on turbo and stuff
Hey guys i don't really no much about anything but if u guys could maybe explain turbo in detail or tell me some good d series stuff i can do to make my car faster but still be able to be my dd. So ill tell u what im working with. But i have a 1992 Honda Civic cx Hatch with a t3/t4 turbo suppose to be on 8 pounds but my gauge only reads four and my turbo dont kick in till 5000 rpms is that right?? Suppose to be chipped and tuned, thx for your help everyone it'll mean a lot

could be anything from real pressure not reaching max down to broken wires or malfunctions of any sort...

Then take my advice TRUST ME....if the car doesn't seem right, get it back to stock and start over. Do some web surfing and find out how turbo's work and such. make sure you think of everything that you will need for the build. I didn't do this and I am paying a serious price. Turbo's are fun, when they are built right.

huuunh...
yeah, if possible turn the boost down as much as possible until you figure out the details. turbo setup that are not done correctly... could get expensive.
main item seems to be fuel mapping, need to be just right, not lean, not too much - that tends to kill the engines.
oil supply will be next?
so investigate the conditions it is running now.
