for that, this will in in another part of the forum, but like mindbomber said in the start of the post, this should be valid for other types of engines as well.

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/2...ies-motor.html

PS: go there, read and learn, but don't reply in there unless you have information to add to the value of the thread.
come back here to post questions, that thread is for reference, so no questions asked, preferrably

could be anything from real pressure not reaching max down to broken wires or malfunctions of any sort...

Then take my advice TRUST ME....if the car doesn't seem right, get it back to stock and start over. Do some web surfing and find out how turbo's work and such. make sure you think of everything that you will need for the build. I didn't do this and I am paying a serious price. Turbo's are fun, when they are built right.

Re: wanting to know some info on turbo and stuff

huuunh...
yeah, if possible turn the boost down as much as possible until you figure out the details. turbo setup that are not done correctly... could get expensive.

main item seems to be fuel mapping, need to be just right, not lean, not too much - that tends to kill the engines.
oil supply will be next?
so investigate the conditions it is running now.
