Hello,
I am looking for advice on good ways for my 93' Civic CX HB, D15B8 series engine, to get a boost in horsepower. I am looking to get between 50 and 100 hp boost. I have been told that turbos can get that kind of power added in. I have been looking around at kits and have found some pricing between 4k and 500. I would like to keep total expenses, after installation and tuning, below 3.5k. Any suggestions on a good kit that can get this kind of boost?

What I may do is a Swap to a bigger engine, still D series since I only have the 70hp engine in the CX

I am thinking about swapping in a d16z6 for the d15b8 that is currently in the stock CX which would both be fairly cheap and easy to do, and adds the ability for an easy Turbo installation further down the road... make any sense?

if your swapping dont waste your time put a b16 or b18 in it... then when you turbo you will be grateful you swapped to one of those

I'm looking to do the same thing with my 1995 CX, i got a free b18c from an older gen integra, that was rear ended. I was thinking about using a ebay turbo kit because their cheap, and apparently (according to some forums and youtube videos) they don't disappointing...majority of the time. Now, i'm not sure if I should leave the turbo out of the car and just spend money on the engine. Please help me out. Thanks, I appreciate it. -Doug.
