Re: 94 eg hatch swap

this is one of the most well known swapped cars. theres info on this EVERYWHERE. eg's have a great chassis, you got a good start on your hands. pending on your budget, a good swap is a b series engine. more and more people are going with k series but theres a little more cash involved there. all depends on what you are looking for exactly. try www.honda-tech.com you will find more info on what your looking for there. most people on this site are rockin the 7th gen civics. good luck yo

also dont let your exterior "mods" get out of control. id suggest ditching the body kit and finding stock bumpers and just put a nice carbon fiber lip on. and also unless the car has a nice set of hid's, ditch the headlights and go for stock as well, specially since you seem to be into the whole jdm thing (jdmjose)

Re: 94 eg hatch swap

thanks for the advice and ill look at the site you gave me. and that bumper is coming off and im either gonna put a wing west on this weekend after i paint it or just put the stock one on wonce i paint it again cuz its scratched.also do you know how much it would cost to switch back from dual exhaust cuz the car came with four exhaust tips that are 110 each or somethin and i dont really like the rear bumper cuz of that and i have the original rear bumper . and im getting hids once i sell the wide body kit i have that isnt installed yet and the custom hood that i dont like .

Re: 94 eg hatch swap

until you know what exhaust you need for your swap, you could just buy a stock exhaust for no more than $100 and install it yourself. g/l with the car, they are definitely great chassis.

Re: 94 eg hatch swap

ya id go with stock until you do the swap. once you get that done i would have custom piping done by a shop then just have the weld on a good muffler to it.
