Well When It Comes To Turbos Quality Is Money I Would Hold On To It And Save Till You Get Enough, You Will Need Other Things Than Just The Turbo, In Order To With Stand The Hp Gains.

if you want to only spend $2k to turbo your car dont hope for too much...like i said you should REALLY research and do your homework before jumping into the turbo world...cuz not to be mean just honest it doesnt sound like you know much about turbocharging so that rules out the possibility of you installing the setup yourself and a PROFESSIONAL QUALITY install typically runs around $750-$1000...thats just installation...then tunning which is usually around $150-$200 for the first hour than usually around $100 for each additional hour of dyno tunning...id say typical tunning time is around 3-5hrs(thats starting from scratch with no base maps) for a VERY GOOD TUNE...so your looking at anywhere from $1200-$1600 for install and tuning...so thats my two cents and dont get me wrong im BY NO MEANS a expert but i have learned ALOT in the past couple years(espcially past year or so) about turbo charging but have ALOT more to learn...here are two books recommended by geoff raicer co founder and co owner of Full Race...Maximum Boost by corky bell and Street Turbocharging by mark warner...best wishes on whatever you decide

Make your own kit and your gonna have a way better bang for buck. For 2k You can make yourself a nice kit for b18b I would say roughly around 300hp crank (26-270whp~). Get yourself a log manifold, t3/t4, intercooler+piping, bov (cheap one), Downpipe/exhaust. You can keep most of your stuff stock for now injectors, etc if your not running to much hp. Once your above 300-350 money starts dropping. You could probably get away with a stock clutch but won't last for long. But you have a huge advantage being bseries cuz there are parts everywhere as oppose to d17 or even kseries.

Which means in a hatch w/ slicks if you kno how to drive easy high 12's if not strip the hatch a bit more.
