IACV trouble

I just did an engine swap in my 93 hatch to a b16a w/LSD. I can start the car now but have to press on the gas pedal to keep running, will not stay at idle and dies. I pulled the code and the IACV (code 14) comes up and is the only code that appears. I used a sub harness from hasport and quadruple checked everthing. I also replaced IACV with a known working IACV and still the same results... any ideas???

An IACV is an Air Intake Control Valve. It is a temperature control valve that regulates the amount of air that is needed during warmup. But I just got the problem worked out. Broke out the Fluke and found that I had No continuity, I had bad connection to the ECU. So I re-did the wire connections and started right up. I got lucky.. some people have had terrible problems related with IACV's and never get the fix right...Thanks for replying though

Damn so it was just the wiring causing this issue?
Do you know exactly which wire it was, or you just re-did them all?

Glad you got it worked out!

It was all pretty much on the engine harness side of things. With all the pulling and moving around the wires came loose in the connectors. The colors of the wires in the connector were blue/yellow and yellow/black. These were the ones I found to be the problem.
