Windshield wipers work some of the time. U can hear it kick on but nothing happens. U have to play around with the switch till the wipers work. my speedometer will stick at about 40 to 45 and about 60 to 65 and my rpm gauge will get stuck as well. Any suggestions??? And also i need to kno what kind of possibilities i have with a little SOHC VTECH? Dont kno where to start for this so im tryin here first. This is my first honda and i need major help.

1. Either the switch is bad or the connector/wire is bad. Take the cover off the steering column and see if it's connected securely or has bad/crimped wires.
2. Probably need a new speedo cable. Although it could be the gauge itself, which is replaceable without having to replace the entire cluster. I recommend this place as a good place to start for that gauge: http://www.picknpull.com/default.aspx and here for new parts: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/southbay/jsp/home.jsp
3. You already have a Z6 so for more power you could turbo or swap to a DOHC (B16, B18, B20) or go for the ultimate swap- K20 (comes in the RSX and new Civics).
