94 Civic ex - wiring trouble

I got this old model car last december.

The only problem i have is with the electrical stuff.

1) The car rear speakers dont work (sometimes work - so loose connection i guess)
2) The driver side controls dont work :

a) The passenger side window doesnt work from the driver side nor passenger side.
b) Power lock doesnt work
c) Window lock doesnt work.
d) The driver side window has some loose connection (but usually works)
e) The driver side door speaker doesnt work.

I was assuming there might be on common wiring problem. Can someone help me regarding where it might have been and how i could repair it?
Thank you

1. Get a service manual, it can be your best friend. http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...C01&itemtype=N

2. Back speakers-probably a bad connection/loose wire. Check the back of the speakers and back of radio. With three of your speakers out it could be a bad radio.

3. Front speaker-check for loose wire at the back of speaker and radio. Also check at the door hinge area where the wire bundle goes from the body to the door. The wires get old and when they bend a lot they may break.

4. When all the locks and windows act wonky it's usually the master switch in the drivers door. That switch usually goes first because that door is opened the most. Without a manual to properly diagnose your switch your down to replacing parts. Get a new switch here: http://www.bkhondaparts.com/billkay/...=&hidIrno=|003 or a used one here:http://www.car-part.com/ craiglist is also good for used parts.

Ur gonna be doing at lot of guesswork wo the wiring schematics. Ask Honda, they may have a separate manual just for the electrical so u don't have to spend mega-bucks for the whole set. If at all possible, always get the factory, it just has the precise thing one needs, otherwise third-parties books many times u have to make some assumptions.

Car switches are known to wear out. A working used one may last u an extra year and u will have the same prob again. A factory new one = megabucks, your choice.
