Ignition timing, 1982 2nd gen
Trying to tune up a 1982 1500 cc Honda Civic wagon with a manual transmission, the book that I have states the timing mark is on the flywheel and that the timing is to be set to 18 BTDC at 870 rpm. The problem is I don't have any diagrams to indicate where the little red mark on the flywheel aligns to.
Does anybody have any more information that might help me in getting this thing timed?
Pics would be great.
NOTE: I have a timing light that lets me put in the 18 BTDC, is that what I do and just get the timing mark in the center of the window?
