94 Civic EX Power Window off track
94 Civic EX Power Window off track
Hello, I'm trying to help out a friend. I'm more of a German car guy, so I'm new to working on Honda. The driver power window is off track. I looked at you tube videos and other online documentation, but all i can find are 1996 and up. Thinking it wouldn't be much different, I pulled the door card and removed the 10mm bolt holing the rear window track. That doesn't give enough clearance to get the glass in place. I can remove the 10mm bolt holding the front track, but feeling inside the door shell, it seems that that brace is also spot welded; so even with that bolt out, I cannot move the track at all.
I'm sure I've missed something easy... What am I doing wrong? Any advice or links to anything for this model would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

IIRC..there is two 10mm bolts that hold the plastic window mounts to the scissor frame. Most likely will need to loosen the horizontal bracket mounted near the front speaker.
