2000 Civic EX Power Window off track

The driver's side window will roll down fine but about 3/4 of the way up stops, its outside of the rubber seal and you can tell its rolling up at an awkward angle. Could anyone give me some help removing the door panel and just getting the window back on track, im low on funds at the moment so im just looking to get the window back on track and up, and fixing the problem at a later date, thanks.

Very typical problem. Basically your regulator might of snapped and typically that need to be replaced, also the run channel prob needs to be replaced that is not letting the window back up. I would first check the regulator if that is ok then try to get it back in the run channel and leave it up.

You will have to take the door panel off, and look how it runs into the channel.

Take a look:

If you take it apart, and it is snapped broken. The regulator is pretty cheap for the civics, many times you can get the motor and reg together for a good price. Just a bitch to replace. The run channel is a different piece as seen in the diagram above. I would do it yourself unless you have some good mechanical knowledge.
