Rough acceleration 1500-3500 RPM
Rough acceleration 1500-3500 RPM
I am driving my dad's 1993 Civic EX Coupe while my car is in the shop. He is the original owner and the car is almost entirely stock with only 59k miles on it. The car sat in the garage for a couple of years, but last winter we put a new battery in it and it fired right up. Since then he had the timing belt and all belts and hoses replaced as well as a fuel system cleaning, fuel filter, and coolant system flush, and new tires.
I don't remember how it drove new, but lately under heavy acceleration it feels very rough between 1500 and 3500 RPM. After 4K it takes off pretty well. The plugs look ok, but I want to replace them along with the wires, and distributor cap.
I've done some research, and it seems that there are a number of other things I should look at, so I'm looking for advice about where to start. After plugs, cap and wires, I will probably look at:
O2 sensor
EGR valve
TPS
Catalytic converter
Am I missing anything? In what order would it make the most sense to tackle these items? Overall, the car is in great shape, so I'm just looking to do what I can to make it a little more enjoyable for my dad to drive.
I appreciate any help!

Re: Rough acceleration 1500-3500 RPM
Honestly, you've got it down.
I personally work from the cheapest parts outwards.
Spark Plugs,
Wires,
Dist. cap
TPS
EGR Valve
and lastly the CC but I don't see that causing the issue.
