CPM code Circuit A or Bank 1 car wont start.

I recently changed my fuel pump, but I had to use starter fluid down my intake to start it.
It ran fine for 5 whole minutes, meaning the fuel pump was fine. I changed the pump with literally no gas in the system. And filled it when I was done.

However, I had a CPM code before I did it, and the engine ran fine. However I did backfire out my straight pipe if I didn't let fuel pressure build up on ON first.

After changing the fuel pump, and starting it for 5 minutes (CPM sensor wire was disconnected because I was stupid)

I reconnected the CPM sensor wire harness to the new sensor and it doesn't start.

The check engine like for the CPM code comes on, although resetting ecu and battery. I still haven't IDLE RELEARNED.

The questions:
- Does the crank have to be TDC to start the car? Timing isn't off since it was done.
- How do I check to see if the wiring harness is functioning, I doubt the new OEM sensor is bad
- Anything else?

When I was driving the car on the CPM code i would be rev limited at 3.2k rpm.

Check continuity, verify you have correct voltage

Delete thread problem is the fuel pump strainer. It's brand new so I'm stumped as to why it's not doing its job
