Looking for my thermal switch for the cooling fan?

I have a 1989 Civic, sat for a few years. I'm getting her breathing again. She runs but the fan does not kick in. I have tested the fan and it works off the battery. I can not find the thermal switch which on the older cars is on the RAD and on newer Civics is up by the thermostat. I have had the RAD out and no switch I also have no switch up by the thermostat? Any thought anyone?

Looks like it's on the back of engine block, above oil filter. 2 pin switch.

Next to the oil pressure switch, which has a single pin.

Thanks for the response! I will go check it out. I'm guessing not easy access, haha. Strange spot to have it.

YUP you are right I can see it there. I have to come from under the car to get to it though. Am having a hard time getting the rubber cover off but was trying from up top and its just to uncomfortable. I'll go under tomorrow.

Thanks so much ezone was a great help to me!
