1990 Civic that will not get fuel from gas tank to motor
1990 Civic that will not get fuel from gas tank to motor
Hello everyone,
I am major issues with my 1990 Civic 2 door hatchback I recieved from a friend that sat in his carport for 3 years. I had to put a new gas tank, fuel pump and a complete tune-up and have had no success starting the car. There is no fuel getting from the fuel pump to the motor and we took off the inline coming from the gas tank to the fuel pump and no gas getting the fuel filter. Does anybody think it could be the fuel pressure regulator?
Please help

Re: 1990 Civic that will not get fuel from gas tank to motor
if it is not even getting to the filter, the pump has to be faulty, did you hook it up right? put a short hose on the pump and see if it will pump into your hand.

I checked the main relay and it is good. I doubled checked how I hooked up the fuel pump and no success. I think the fuel pump might be faulty. I did by the pump at Autozone (Airtex brand)
Does anybody else have anymore thoughts on my problem????
