Engine warning light 93 Civic
I have a Jan 1993 L -reg 4 -door Civic Auto and the yellow engine warning light is on but the car seems to be working perfectly as it has only done 45K from new. As there is no onboard computer how do you get the warning light to flash the code as I can't locate the correct 'pins' to use so I keep blowing fuses. Is there any easy fix as the car will not pass the UK MOT with the light on - last year the MOT showed rather high CO2 emissions if that gives any clue!! Could it be the oxygen sensor?

Guessing won't get you anywhere.
You need to read the code stored in the computer first.
I have no idea what they use over on your side of the pond, but here you would need to find the 2 terminal SCS connector and jumper it, then turn the key on and read the engine light flashing codes in the standard two digit format.
