95' Civic Brake Pressure Low on Sunny Days

I have a 4 door 1995 Civic EX and I have recently had low brake pressure on a hot days. I will be able to stop fine if I were to slam on the brake pedal, however If I waiting at a red light, I will slowly start to lose pressure which requires me to constantly push the pedal down further. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

If it is a bad master cylinder, is that a replacement I can do myself? Or is it best to get a mechanic to do it?

That is entirely up to you.
Only you know what your abilities are.
