95 civic ex coupe grinding noise

when i turn my steering wheel i get this grinding noise sounds like metal on metal and also i get it sometimes when i push on the brake. Any ideas? :/ im scared itll cost a lot of money

I would check the CV joint, tie rod ends, bushings and wheel bearings.
