Just bought a civic, and it runs terrible.
I just picked up a 93 civic EX for a few hundred bucks to use as a dd/ricer/beater. The kid who owned it before me had a new engine put in, by a half retarded mechanic. It will barely start and it runs like crap, vtec dosent work, gets about 20mpg. It ran slightly better after i hooked the vtec oil pressure and coolant temp sensors right (yes, they were hooked up wrong, and theyre even color coded!). Here is what looks like another coolant temp sensor, and some broken wires, can anyone verify that those wires go to that sensor? If so ill just clip a plug off a car at the JY and splice it in..

get one of these - you can get from the local autoparts shops too - yeh will need it...
