obd 1 code

i got a code 19 and it says its the lock up control solenoid but my civic is a manual and the book says the caode is only for an automatic and we checked it like 15 times to make sure thats the code we got any ideas

Only thing I can think of is that the previous owner had an automatic to manual conversion and didn't do the wiring quite right. The automatic harness is backwards compatible to manual but, not the other way around. Do you have an unconnected or cut off connector on top of the tranny?
