1992 civic keeps failing etest!!!
so i have had my civic in and tested 4 times in the past 2 weeks and the NO PPM number continues to increase regardless of what i have done.
recent work i have done is...
cat
o2 sensor
exhaust from cat back
retarded the timing
fresh oil
premium gas
new plugs, wires
i have been reading all these little tricks and tips to pass this portion of the etest but cant seem to find anyone saying what works....
my reading is 1500 and the limit is 636 for NO ppm in Ontario
Any help with this would be appreciated
Thank you

Cut a big hole in the exhaust out of site from visual inspections.

94 octane or premium fuel is of no benefit, in fact, it is probably working against you. The compression in your engine is to low to completely burn the fuel. Use regular gas and mix a 0.5 liter of methyl hydrate into the tank. If your cat isn't functioning then you won't pass, there's no way around that.
