1993 D15B7 Head Gasket replacement

So after sitting for a long time I thought I'd finally replace the blown head gasket in my 93 civic dx. However after lapping the valves, getting a new head gasket, I noticed a gap between the sleeves in the middle two cylinders (see pictures below). I'm thinking this gap isn't supposed to be there. The gasket I got is 4 sheets of metal. Should I try putting it back together anyway and see if it runs ok (who knows for how long) or is this the end of this block?

Personally i whould go with a new block. I whouldnt feel safe running it with that crack in it. Last place you wanna be in on the side of the road broke down with a cracked block. You can find a d15 block all day long pretty cheap. Better safe then sorry.
