motor question

I recently purchased a 1992 vx, i read they have the economy vtec-E engine in them, my question is i want to replace the motor eventually due to high miles, do i need to replace it with the same or could i just use any d series from the same time. i dont want to replace the harness or anything like that. Thanks for the help

ull have to use a d series motor since u dnt wanna change the harness

yes and no. If you put another d series in it then its plug and play. You can also challenge urself and put a b18 in it. not hard to do. Just need 94-95 integra motor,axles,motor mounts and ecu and harness and it should plug in just fine.
