Just Bought a 93 EX

Hey guy,

I'm brand new to Honda Civic.

1993 Honda Civic EX Automatic

I bought one because of my 40 mile drive to work. I pick it up on Tuesday, and I have some things I need to learn about.

One the Speedo bounces a bit when driving. I even noticed it stop going up at 20mph when I was test driving. Where do I start with this? I hope to not spend to much money/time on this one.

There is a oil leak on the passenger side of the motor. Looks like it's just below the valve cover. Don't now if it's the valve cover gasket or distributor seal.

And last so far I want to do a tune-up, and was looking at NGK Plugs. The only one NGK says they have for this car is a V-Power, and I was hoping for Iridium.

Any other advice, tips, or must read threads please lead me in the right direction.

Thanks
Shawn
