Engine light on...?
hey im new to this forum! but i thought it would be great to see if one of you guys knew the answer to my question..
Im looking at a 1991 Honda Civic SI has lots of upgrades from b16a to a bodykit.
But one thing that struck me was that the engine light was on, i asked him why it is on, he said because he has added a whole new exhaust..and took off the catalyst converter or whatever its called. and therefor there is much more air flow which causes the light to come on. Now if any of you guys know if this is true or not please tell me!
Im also getting our mechanic to do a compression test and whatnot on it before i look at buying it ? is that a smart to do?
thanks in advance for the help!!
