Power Window Popping

Power Window Popping
My driverside window rolls down fine, but makes popping noise when almost rolled all the way up. The popping is in a series of 3 pops and starts with half inch left until it closes. The door jumps with the popping. Any ideas???
btw, I have looked and the window is in the track. The track doesn't seem to be giving any movement.

I have this same exact problem. I'm just going to replace the entire power window mechanism with a cheapie ebay peice like I did my driver side when it started failing.
My guess is the arm that interfaces with the motor is either bent, or that center nut thing holding the two arms together is starting to fail. In any case, pretty much all roads lead to a $40 Chinese replacement.
