1997 lx headlight question
Im trying to change the headlight on my 97 civic. I figured the connector would pull right off the bulb but it wont. is there a lever or something on the socket im missing? i also was wondering if you guys had any tips on the drivers side because i can barely get my hand in there

Re: 1997 lx headlight question

I think you can just squeeze the sides of the connector to release it and pull it off.
If you can't reach it from the engine compartment, you may be able to reach by pulling down the plastic fenderwell liner and reeaching through the wheelwell. I know it works on some of the cars, but I can't remember if it helps on that Civic.

You can pull the power steering resiviour out of the way. it pulls straight up off the little mount the hose comes out of the little hook. try not to kink it too bad if not there are 4 bols holding the headlight in. hope this helps
