I have a hid kit installed and a relay harness as well for them. They are 10k. The ballasts have both been changed just in case, and the bulbs are my 3rd pair in less then 6 months because the one driver side headlight hid changes to purple/white every once and a while then starts doing it all the time.

I just put the 4th pair of new fresh HID bulbs in this past Thursday night. They were great until Saturday now the drivers side is once again purple/white. Not horrible yet but sometimes I turn them on and they are so noticeable and sometimes they aren't as noticeable. Within a few days it seems like the driver sides will be completely color changed again and I'm out of ideas at this point.

Update!

For the hell of it last night I changed the one bulb again on the same side, removed the relay from that side only connected it normally and used a anti-flicker capacitor with a new ballast.

When I first turn them on, the other side turns on no problem with no flickering (one connected to the relay)

The driver side which is problem side, flickers just like it did on the relay, the bulb turns on flickers pink 2 or 3 times then goes to the color it should be. but most likely within a few days, it will go back to color shift thing.

(Might just be me, but seems like it flickers the pink color less now that it isnt on the relay like it was before, kind of odd to me)

I'm running out of ideas!

Update, reconnect the relay to both hid bulbs and disconnect the oem connector to the hid bulb connector on the driver problem side in case maybe the driver side wiring is fried. The relay ballast wire to the driver side is reconnected instead of just plug n play way?

Would this even matter since i have a relay connnected?

Please help im running out of ideas!

Changed the bulbs out again with a fresh pair of 10K.

The same driver side issue started again as soon as I turned the lights on. Connected to the relay, using the passenger side (side battery is on) ballast turn on wire from relay to turn both HID's on.

The driver side turns on flickers, you can see it change color to pink then back to normal, pink again and then back to normal and stays normal. I know it definetly should not flicker and flicker pink like it is. I know once again, I probably have another 2 weeks or so until it constantly changes color again! so annoying!

please help. I'm going to try to get a video as well!

My friends HID kit got screwy when the wiring harness got damaged. Where'd you get the kit?

I've been buying and selling the HID Kit's to friends and family for 2 years now. Get them from a company called HID System INC in California.

The same side bulb won't stop changing colors. It worked for the past month and even though it was working it was still doing that pink flicker at startup just on that one bulb.

I'm losing my Patience. ANyone have any ideas?

Ballasts, Relay and Bulbs have been replaced throughout the process of the problem.
