I'm not trying to be a smartass but you're being super vague. You can do whatever you want to it.
What are you trying to accomplish? You're mentioning an engine swap so I assume at least part of your goal is more power. Stock suspension, brakes, and wheels on these cars are crap, so that's where you'll want to look before adding power.
The first thing you'll wanna do is research. There's over 20 years of resources and information online about anything you'd possibly want to do to these cars.
