I want to rebuild my engine and need a lot of help. I have been reading articles on several websites and am left confused. Does anyone know where I can purchase a complete rebuild kit that will support boost? I am not trying to go crazy. This is my first build ever! Really if I can get 200 to 250 of reliable hp I will be pleased. I will also have to do this in phases. Rebuild first, turbo later. I believe the engine is a d16y7, 5 speed and 174,000 miles. No smoke runs good, leaks everywhere. Lol. I also think that it is time to rebuild or purchase a new tranny. As mine seems very loose. I might consider an engine swap but not axle swap. Thanks for any info/advice, sorry for any stupid questions that might follow...
