Hey guys I have a couple questions as I'm getting ready to do my first swap as the title says I going from a Y8 to a b18b I have just a couple quick questions. I've heard that the original D series mounts can be used although I've also heard that new mounts must be used either civic SI or HASport? Also engine wiring harness I've read that the civc EX harness will plug up to the B18b you just have to change IACV to 2 wire, extend O2 sensor wires, and the VTEC plug will no longer be needed how much of that is true if any?

nobody is answering you because you are asking a question about a swap that has been done a million times into a car that is 14 years old and has been covered a a gazillion times on a bajillion forums. search.

I realize its been done many times and I have done research which is why I only have very specific questions I don't need to know how to do the swap just if I can reuse my original wire harness. I've read only 98 ex manual I've read it can be from either manual or auto.

obviously they don't teach your resourcefulness in the army.
