I have swapped a b18c1 into a 1998 civic lx. The problem i am having is I noticed on the car I took the B18c1 out of had 2 connectors by the driver side strut tower. the lx only has one of these connectors. the engine cranks and then backfires through the intake. The plugs are old and worn so they will be replaced but my question is does anyone have a picture of the connectors by the strut tower and know what they are for. The B18 has an edelbrock victor x intake so the butterfly valves are gone, the throttle body is a 70mm str it has a adjustable fuel pressure regulator as well. the engine ran before it was taken out of the car but it has been sitting for a few years. any suggestions would be great!
