Question from a noob to turbo experts
Ok so im boosted and there is a guy selling locally a D16Y8 intake manifold .. for 50 bucks .. should i buy this ... why have i heard this is good? is it a direct swap? expensive to do? worth it ? i wanna know about it... and what is the throttle body .. do both the intake mani and throttle body fit on the d17A2 ? lemme know guys im a noob but i've heard its good to upgrade and im here to learn thanks

^^^ There you go. It is possible, but with a lot of custom fab and/or an EMS that will bypass the EGR codes you'll throw if you just do a plug job on that coolant port.
I think the TB should work as the TPS and MAP are the same (IIRC), but it's not a bolt-up and go. Look before you leap on that one. I've got a Y8 mani and will be doing it - eventually.
