B16a2 Boosted
B16a2 Boosted
Hi, I have a ek hatch with a swapped b16a2, its a fresh motor, and I got a t3/t4 ready to be put on, I am wondering at the dyno how much i might put down at lets say some ranges between 5-8psi, also thats safe cause i know the b16a2 has a 10:5:1 cr, so... there are other mods but stock internals, o and i gonna go with hondata, anyone disagree,

Re: B16a2 Boosted
Boosted b16's make anywhere from 200-250whp on low boost. The engine should safely be able to handle 10psi on stock internals, granted you have a good fuel management system like hondata, neptune, apexi power fc for example.
Re: B16a2 Boosted
u will prob have to wire up a resistor box for those injectors. u will prob be looking around 200hp with 5-6 pounds. do u know what spring is in your wastegate? if it is over 5-6 psi then u wont be able to go lower than what your wastegate is set at

There is no safe limit persay; you'll have to get it dyno tuned at w/e psi you can run with no predetonation or knock. It could be 7-15psi on pump gas. Make sure your buddy has a fuel system that allows you to retard ignition timing though but I guess with distributors you can do that manually.
